I’m having a party on Sunday. yeah, thats last minute, but if you can stop by you can have some burgers or other crap off the grill.

fun starts at noon, continues til we all pass out in the hot sun. BYOB, and if you can bring any food that would help too. We’ll have the basic burgers, chips, corn… desserts and sides are welcome.

MOVING

I’m moving next week. Sunday April 13. I’m not moving far

See? thats only 4/5ths of a mile. And I’ll have a truck! The only tough part is taking my couch, bed, TV, and Dinner table and putting them in a truck. If you think you posses the Caveman-like brute strength to assist in such a task, contact me at once. I’m hoping if a few of you can come over for a couple hours, it’ll make it go smooth enough that it will be very easy.

Dawn is also moving with me, so some of her stuff will be in the truck too. It’ll be a bigger unloading than loading. all I ask is we get the truck empty by 4:45 so I can get the thing back to U-Haul by 5. But like I said, it’ll be quick since its just some furniture and the only steps are down. I’ll also have a handcart so we can roll shit too. Like I said: easy.

at the end we’ll have pizza from Glass Nickel.

I’m a Journalist

Though some of you already knew, now its official: The Isthmus has hired me as Madison area video game beat reporter. The position is classified as freelance since theres very little to actually do (I won’t quit my day job), but hopefully as the idea of local news covering local gamer events gets more popular, they’ll increase the budget and I’ll get more work.

In the mean time, my first article went live Sunday afternoon:

After dinner, we’ll come back to my apartment for cake and further festivities.
