A few weeks ago I was able to be on a game show called “Gen Wars”. Contestants consisted of mixed generations, one from Gen z, one millenial, and one Gen X. I put on my best cardigan sweater and went to the studio ready to dominiate.
This was a pilot produced by students at MATC, and huge thank you to Stephan Brannan for having me on. You can watch the whole thing on Youtube here:
The Q&A format is similar to another quiz show you may have watched, but the topics are all centered around pop culture from various time periods.
As a veteran employee of Blockbuster Video in the 90s and continuing a pretty steady diet of online brain rot to this day, I felt I was positioned well to win.
While this was a student production, the actual facilities and staff were not amatuers. They used the same studio as Milwaukee’s PBS stations and the crew was great at getting us all set up on camera for creating a successful show.

I won’t spoiler what happens. If you know me I came to entertain and info dump and I did both for the duration of the show. Despite a set back in the second round due to a very confident wager from another player, I was able to bring it all back with the final question.
Go watch the Gen Wars Pilot on youtube and leave a comment so they make more! I want to be the Ken Jennings of this!
