moving on

I need a place to stay. anyone know someone who’s looking for a roommate or maybe has a place I can crash for a month or so? I should be able to afford my own apartment in no time, but my current status is prompting me to want to move sooner rather than later and since I’ve just started a job, I’m waiting on a first paycheck.

on the bright side… I did sell my first car yesterday, which means I’m on the board already.

Both Sides Of Sales

Today I sold my first car. It was pretty great.

I also had the misfortune of trying to explain concepts like market growth vs actual market to some friends. They just couldn’t get around the even if a market is healthy and experiencing growth over the previous year, it is still not as potentially profitable to be in as a much larger market with a larger untapped base. Once your small market fills up or bottoms out, theres no where to go. With the larger market you could easily surpass the maximum and continue to grow.

So basically.. yes Japan’s 150 Million population may have a higher percentage of gamers now… but the 1.3 billion people in North America and Europe are a much larget market. Japanese games are over. Western games now lead. Get used to it.
