Manual

I had to drive a bit today. why do people bother with this clutch and gear shift business? automatic does all that for you and you can use that free hand to eat, play with the radio, or giving offensive gestures out the window.

Also, while I’m told the MX-5 Miata is fun to drive, I couldn’t enjoy it that much. I’m right about at the height limit. Its not enought that I’m sitting on the floor, but I couldn’t even stretch out!

That said, there are some sweet rides on the lot and I should be able to get a good price on something soon..

So as screwy as my life seems to be at any given second lately, I still want to go.

BUT, I’ve taken a job with mandatory saturdays. There is a chance I may work that day, DRIVE UP that evening, and spend saturday night and sunday communing with the freaks.

things only really got nuts saturday night last year anyway.

I’m merely posting this as a heads up of a possibility. it could change drasticly in the next few weeks, days, hours, minutes.

He’s playing Club 770, which is on campus, an all ages no drink/no smoke place. its a thursday night, april 26 at 8 PM. don’t have ticket or opening act info, but that place is a hole in the wall so it’ll probably only be 5-10 max and maybe some local boys opening.

PLEASE COME OUT TO THIS. Madison has many things, but not the DC rock scene, and Ted Leo is one of those guys I haven’t seen in AGES. He just put out a new album which kicks so much ass i’ve listened to it every day in the last week. you want a copy, I will make one for you.

Blog Crazy

I’ve been going really nuts updating powet as much as possibly lately.

I have like 3 videos I want to get done right now but don’t have my camera so I’m SOL.

in the mean time, i’m putting up 6 posts a day on powet. because fuck, NO ONE ELSE IS POSTING ANYTHING.

I had to get up out of my seat as soon as the movie was over to keep from shitting on it in front of the friends i was with.

they took 20 minues to set up the story and then spent the rest of the movie shooting fake blood, decapitated heads and guitar solos into my brain. I’m not sure I hated it or liked it, but it certainly didn’t stimulate me in any fashion.


no cool rap songs about Mazdas, but I think it’ll be a fun job.

Damn Right It Was A Good Day

Today turned out ok.

I met with a couple promising leads, but also got a call back to meet with a job I really want. Selling Mazdas.

Automobile Oddity


A couple weeks ago my car’s ignition broke. A mechanic disassembled the steering column so now I can start and stop the car without a key, just by flicking a switch.

Soda Of The Moment

Coca Cola Cherry Zero

On the whole I don’t like Coke stuff nearly as much as Pepsi or Dr. Pepper. But I’ve been really mindful of how many calories are in soda, so I’m willing to try diets and low cal versions of stuff I like.

I don’t know if there was a diet cherry coke at some point, but the newest version of coca cola zero comes in the ol’ Cherry Coke flavor, and its pretty good. Still has aspartame, but no carbs or calories.

Ultimately I really want more sodas that user Splenda but thats limited to some Diet Coke thats not available everywhere and Diet Rite, which you don’t even see in soda fountains.

For dinner
